The Kingdom Of God

(A Kingdom That Is Real!)

Text: Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  (Psalm 145:13)                                                                      Introduction: A Kingdom that is Real! Are You Living Where God Rules?  The Kingdom of God is not a realm but a reign; not a domain but a dominion. The Kingdom of God does not exist because of your effort or mine.  It exists because God reigns.  Our part is to enter this Kingdom and bring our life under His sovereign will.   Wherever God rules over the human heart as King, there is the Kingdom of God established. D.) Why seek the Kingdom of God?

1. It is Commanded! Matthew 6:33

2. Blessings come to those who do. Matthew 13:44-48

Examples: Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like:

(2) Something Precious: Matt.13:45-46,“A merchant man, seeking goodly pearls”

(3) Something Unique : Matt. 13:44-48, “like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:”, “gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.”

E.) How does one seek the Kingdom of God?  Romans 12:1-2
