“For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.”

I. The Audience with Pharaoh

1. Selling the Grain During the Famine Genesis 47:16-25 There were four different prices for the grain during the famine. First, lucre (Genesis 41:56).Second, livestock (Genesis 47:16). Third, lands (Genesis 47:20). . Fourth, lives (Genesis 47:23).That these prices were wise is attested by the fact that the people praised Joseph at the end of the famine saying, "Thou hast saved our lives" (Genesis 47:25).
