PM (PART TWO)

God’s Pattern For Christian Living

Hebrews 11:32-34 (Judges 6 and 7)

We often amuse ourselves with the things that break Christ heart. We need to learn God’s Pattern For Christian Living.

I. Our Daily Walk Psalm 100:1, 2 and 4

1.) A Walk Of Joy

Psalm 100:1 “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.”

2.) A Walk Of Service Psalm 100:2

“Serve the LORD with gladness:” The best argument for Christianity and the best argument against Christianity is the life of a Christian. Not only are we to be His witnesses; we ought to be part of the evidence. A Good Question ”“What have you done today that nobody, but a Christian would do?" Ask this question of yourself. What would be your answer?

3.) A Walk Of Song Psalm 100:2

“... come before His presence with singing.” Psalm 40:3

4.) A Walk Of Worship Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless his name.

5.) A Walk Of Thanksgiving Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless his name.

II. Seven Reasons For Praising The Lord Psalm 100:3 and 5

EXAMPLE: AMEN and HALLELUJAH are International Language Words!

1.) The Lord Is God Psalm 100:3 “Know ye that the LORD He is God:”

2.) The Lord Is Creator Psalm 100:3

“...it is he that hath made us...” Psalm 95:6

3.) We Are The Lord’s People Psalm 100:3 “...we are His people...”

4.) We Are The Lord’s Sheep Psalm 100:3 “...and the sheep of his pasture.”

5.) The Lord Is Good Psalm 100:5 “For the LORD is good...”

6.) The Lord’s Mercy Is Everlasting Psalm 100:5 “...His mercy is everlasting...” In Psalm 136:1-26 God says over and over:“ His mercy endureth forever.”

7.) The Lord’s Truth Endures Psalm 100:5

“...His truth endureth to all generations.”
