GOD’S PATTERN FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING

Psalm 100:1-5 We often amuse ourselves with the things that break Christ heart. We need to learn God’s Pattern for Christian Living.

I. OUR DAILY WALK Psalm 100:1, 2 and 4

1.) A Walk of Joy Psalm 100:1 “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.”

2.) A Walk of Service Psalm 100:2 “Serve the LORD with gladness:” The best argument for Christianity and the best argument against Christianity is the life of a Christian. Not only are we to be His witnesses; we ought to be part of the evidence. A Good Question “What have you done today that nobody but a Christian would do?" Ask this question of yourself. What would be your answer?

3.) A Walk of Song Psalm 100:2 “come before His presence with Singing”

Psalm 40:3

4.) A Walk of Worship Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless his name.

5.) A Walk of Thanksgiving Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless his name.

II. SEVEN REASONS FOR PRAISING THE LORD

Psalm 100:3 and 5

EXAMPLE: AMEN and HALLELUJAH are International Language Words!

1.) The Lord Is God Psalm 100:3 “Know ye that the LORD He is God:”

2.) The Lord Is Creator Psalm 100:3 “It is he that hath made us,” Psalm 95:6

3.) We Are the Lord’s People Psalm 100:3 “we are His people,”

4.) We Are the Lord’s Sheep Psalm 100:3 “and the sheep of his pasture.”

5.) The Lord Is Good Psalm 100:5 “For the LORD is good;”

6.) The Lord’s Mercy Is Everlasting Psalm 100:5 “His mercy is everlasting;”

In Psalm 136:1-26 God says over and over: “His mercy endureth forever.”

7.) The Lord’s Truth Endures Psalm 100:5 “His truth endureth to all generations.”
