REAL FAITH MAKES A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN RELIGION.
Hebrews 11:4 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain”
False religion is salvation by self, works, and merit. True religion is salvation by Jesus Christ only. Hebrews 11:4 Notice: The Contrast in Their Worship John 4:24
A.) The Religion of Cain
Genesis 4:1-3, Cain was a farmer. Jude 11
1. The religion of Cain was a religion of his own imagination, ingenuity, and self-effort. Ephesians 2:8-10
2. The religion of Cain was a bloodless religion. Hebrews 9:22
B.) The Religion of Abel
1. Abel followed God’s plan for his religion. Genesis 3:15, Romans 16:20,
Galatians 4:4-5
Abel believed and understood the first gospel illustration given in the Bible in: Genesis 3:21
2. Abel’s religion was God’s religion of Blood Redemption.
Hebrews 9:22, Acts 10:43, John 14:6
II. REAL FAITH MAKES A PRACTICAL DIFFERENCE IN RESULTS.
Hebrews 11:4 “By which he obtained witness that he was righteous,”
Romans 3:23-28 These verses tell us faith makes positive and practical difference.

III. REAL FAITH MAKES A PERMANENT DIFFERENCE IN THE RECORD.
Hebrews 11:4, “and by it he being dead yet speaketh.”
1.) Abel’s Death Spoke to God. Genesis 4:9–10
2.) Abel’s Faith Speaks to Us! Hebrews 11:4 “and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” John 3:36
Invitation: Faith makes the difference. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Grace is God reaching down from Heaven saying I love you! I want to save you! Faith is the hand that reaches up and takes hold of God’s hand of grace! John 3:16 You know Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace." What is grace? G-r-a-c-e: God's Riches at Christ's Expense.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith. “What is faith? F-a-i-t-h: Forsaking All, I trust Him. There are only two kinds of religions - True Religion or False Religion. Which one do you have? Real Faith Makes the Difference in Religion an Eternal Difference!
