Introduction: A.) Recapping the Christmas Story on The First Christmas Day! (Luke chapters 1 and 2) 1. The Angel’s Announcement, 2. The Virgin’s Conception, 3. The Taxing, 4. The Virgin Birth of Jesus, 5. The Shepherds and the Angels The first Christmas story was a story of peace, hope, and love. It is a story that is retold year after year; yet, it never loses its majesty, and it never ceases to fill our hearts with wonder.

B.) But What Happened on The First Christmas Eve?

I. HEAVEN’S CONVERSATION Hebrews 10:5

A.) It Is a Conversation of The Divine Trinity.

B.) It Is a Conversation of Fulfilled Prophecy.

1. The Prophecy - Hebrews 10:7, Psalm 40:6-7, Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Micah 5:2

2. The Fulfillment - Hebrews 10:5-7, Some people say that the Bible is not true, but what about Christmas? Christmas is the fulfillment of at least 333 prophecies concerning the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “The probability of one person fulfilling just eight of the Old Testament prophecies is one in 10 to the 17th power, or one hundred billion. The likelihood of accidentally fulfilling just 48 prophecies is one in 100 to the 157th power.” Jesus fulfilled all 333 prophecies.

C.) It Was a Conversation of The Sacrifice for All Sin.

Conclusion: Jesus Is: The greatest child ever born. The greatest prophecy ever fulfilled. The greatest event to come to pass. The greatest sacrifice ever offered. The greatest gift ever given. Luke 2:11 “For unto You is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” God’s gift of salvation has your name on it. If you were the only person in all the world, Christ would have come and died for you! If I were the only person in all the world, Christ would have come and died for me.

1. “Unto You” makes it Personal and Pertinent.

2. “This Day” makes it Present and Purposeful.

3. “A Savior” makes it Precious and Practical.

4. “Christ the Lord” makes it Preeminent and Powerful.
