Background Text: John 12:12-33 Text: John 12:12-13
Introduction: Today is Palm Sunday! It began here in John 12:12-33. It was here that palm trees provided the branches that joyful crowds waved to welcome Jesus to Jerusalem before His crucifixion - giving the name “Palm Sunday” to the first Sunday before crucifixion and the Sunday before the celebration of the resurrection Sunday of Jesus Christ. Let’s look at five points of interest that happened on that first memorial Palm Sunday.
